About the Owners

Home Video Studio – Portland is owned by Philip and Suzi Beech.

Philip holds a BA degree in Filmmaking from Brooks Institute of Photography.  He has worked as a Film Editor and Assistant Editor on many feature films while the couple lived in Los Angeles.  Philip is a New Orleans, LA native and a longtime New Orleans Saints fan.

Suzi is a former below-the-line talent agency owner (Beech Agency), where she represented Cinematographers, Production Designers and Film Editors.  Suzi also worked in film production in Los Angeles, before becoming a Talent Agent.

The couple, along with their boy/girl twins, moved to Portland, OR in 2003.  They opened Home Video Studio – Portland in 2008 and Beech Marketing in 2009.  They are active members of the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, volunteers at their children’s elementary school, and enjoy the culture and community of the Portland area.
